Floating Turtle (Print)

Since I saw a sea turtle being born for the first time, on a beach in Mexico, I was amazed at how beautiful and special they are. That day we saw how the turtles came out of the eggs buried in the sand and went to the water as fast as they could, as their little legs would allow, so that they wouldn't be eaten by a seagull or any animal that happened to be there. When they got to the water I went swimming with them and spent some time watching them, playing with them and freaking out at how well they swam for being newborns. It was a unique experience. I painted this print at a time when I didn't know where I wanted to go. The possibilities were endless, so I decided to close my eyes and rely on intuition. So, this is about doing what you like because of how good it feels to do it. About turning your back on the future and enjoying the moment. About trusting and letting it flow, even if you have no idea where you're going with it.
